The designed facility has three floors above ground and one underground. The main idea was to design a facility that would harmoniously fit into the existing buildings in Konstancin and create a calm, friendly space that would support patients' recovery.
The fragmented shape of the hospital gains lightness, blending into the densely wooded surroundings, disappearing into the background of pines and maples growing there. Wooden elements and divisions of the facade, at a relatively low cost, give a sense of warmth and fit organically into the forest context of Konstancin. The shape additionally separates the southern part of the plot from the entrance area and creates an intimate, peaceful space for relaxation among the greenery of the park.
