The subject of the competition was the development of an architectural and urban design for the left-bank Vistula boulevard, on the section from Powiśle to Podzamcze in Warsaw. One of the main problems of this place was the lack of attractive development and Wisłostrada, which effectively cut off free access to the river. In the project, it was decided to organically link the Vistula boulevard with the city, enabling free, collision-free communication between the Old Town, Podzamcze and Powiśle. Additionally, an attractive development of the river bank was ensured, which is a magnet for residents and tourists. The project assumed the adaptation of existing underground passages in the Podzamcze area, the construction of an additional passage under Wisłostrada and a viewing terrace. Additionally, new public transport stops were located on the Śląsko-Bridge and the location of a pedestrian crossing at the exit of Nowy Zjazd Street.
